How to Enjoy Our Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee

We age our special Bourbon Barrel coffee in a classic bourbon barrel from our good friends at Iron Fish Distillery, then roast it to toasty perfection. And while it's an indulgent treat when simply brewed as you would brew any hot coffee--filter drip, pour-over, French press, the sky's the limit--we also have a few creative ideas for special recipes and concoctions. Give them a try, and let us know how it goes!

THE SIMPLEST COLD BREW

Coarsely grind 6-8 ounces of bourbon barrel aged coffee beans and place in a one-quart mason jar. Fill jar with cold filtered water, stir well, secure a lid, and put in the refrigerator. Shake jar every few hours (or really, just whenever you think about it). After 18-24 hours, strain twice: first through a metal sieve, and then through a paper coffee filter set in the sieve over a clean jar. Dilute to your taste, pour over ice and enjoy.
