Marcos Perdomo’s washed coffee has a bit of something for everyone, with stately sweetness and ample aromatics elevating the experience of a truly top notch coffee. It’s a smooth, medium-bodied cup with sweet notes of fig, toffee, toasted coconut, and rich hazelnut. Give this coffee a swirl or a lively slurp to release those sweet blackberry top notes. On paper, these flavors are somewhat reminiscent of a natural process coffee, but Marcos’ coffee isn’t punchy or overbearing, and it isn’t bogged down by fermented, winey funk in the aftertaste. If balanced sweetness and soft fruit notes are what you’re looking for, Marcos’ offering is here to satisfy.
This is our first year buying from Marcos, and we've already decided it won't be the last. An Agricultural Engineer by profession, Marcos showed a passion and strong connection to agronomy at an early age, working in diverse areas such as coffee farming, beekeeping, cattle raising, fish farming, and the cultivation of rice, corn, and beans. His focus now is coffee cultivation, part of his third-generation family heritage. Marcos is a supportive member of his community, a devoted father, and a wonderful grandfather.
